What is the difference between the Study Abroad Program and the Field School?

What languages are programs offered in?

Will I receive a certificate after completing a program?

No. All workshops are designed to be accessible to participants of all experience levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or have previous knowledge of archaeology or ancient crafts, our instructors will guide you through both the historical background and practical techniques.
What does a typical workshop include?
Each workshop begins with an engaging lecture or presentation introducing the historical, archaeological, and cultural context of the workshop’s theme. Can I keep the item I create during a workshop?
Yes. Participants are welcome to take home the item they create as a unique souvenir of their experience at the Mycenaean Foundation. If you prefer not to keep your finished piece, you may choose to donate it to the Foundation, where it may be displayed as an example or inspiration for future workshops.
How long do workshops typically last?
Workshop duration varies depending on the topic and level of detail, but most workshops last between 2 and 4 hours. Half-day, full-day, and multi-day workshops can also be arranged for schools, universities, and organized groups. (Adjust the duration to match your actual offerings.)
Who leads the workshops?

Library & Research
What resources are available in the Foundation's library?
The Foundation’s library contains books, journals, excavation reports, maps, archival materials, and other resources related to Mycenaean civilization, archaeology, ancient Greece, and the Bronze Age.
Can I donate books to the library?
Yes. The Foundation welcomes donations of books and scholarly publications that support its educational and research mission.
Does the Foundation have a digital library?
The Foundation is developing a digital library to expand access to selected publications, archival materials, photographs, and research resources. We hope for it to be ready in 2028-2029
Can I use the library without participating in a program?
Researchers and scholars may request library access by contacting the Foundation in advance and receive a temporary code that lasts 1 week. Typically only those who are members may access the Digital Library. Access will last a year as a member of the Foundation.
Membership
Who can become a member?
Membership is open to anyone who shares the Foundation’s commitment to preserving and promoting Mycenaean history, archaeology, and cultural heritage.
Can members participate in Foundation events?
